Wadding Tunnel Oven

Ramina Wadding Tunnel Oven is specially designed for the thermal resin bonding and the calibration of the wadding and high-loft nonwovens. Single or Double belt, the oven is equipped of a number of heating and cooling modules depending of the line productivity. Each oven module is equipped with a double equalization chamber that allows the even air distribution on all product width for an optimal air-through principle and it is designed for set in automatic the air flow direction according to the product to be processed. The smart machine configuration allows the easy cleaning process and the close attention to minimize the impact on the environment goes hand-in-hand with the energy saving technology.

Felt Tunnel Oven

The Felt Tunnel Oven is specially designed for the thermal bonding and the calibration of felts used in automotive, furniture and construction industry. Single or Double belt, the oven is equipped of a number of heating modules depending of the line productivity. Each oven module is equipped with a double equalization chamber that allows the even air distribution on all product width for an optimal air-through principle and it is designed for set in automatic the air flow direction according to the product to be processed. A cooling calender at oven exit ensures the felt thickness and finishing. The smart machine configuration allows the easy cleaning process and the close attention to minimize the impact on the environment goes hand-in-hand with the energy saving technology.

Cooling Unit

The Cooling Unit is usually installed after the Wadding or the Felt Tunnel Oven and it is designed for consolidate the thermal bonded nonwoven.

Drum Dryer

Ramina Drum Dryer is designed for the thermal fixing of nonwoven as a result of an optimal air-through principle (TAD) reducing the elastic memory of the filaments and gives to the nonwoven a thermal stability necessary for subsequent process. Essential product features are achieved in Spunbond, Meltblown, Spunlace and other applications. With its innovative construction the Drum Dryer supports the bearing outside the heating zone to enhance the maximum durability and efficiency. The machine is also equipped with a special needle-ring system avoiding the product shrinkage with a manual or electric adjustment. The smart machine configuration allows the easy cleaning process and the close attention to minimize the impact on the environment goes hand-in-hand with the energy saving technology.

Horizontal Drum Dryer

With its innovative construction Ramina Horizontal Drum Dryer has changed the “old technology” of spunbond roofing line based on an IR Pre-heating unit and a 6-drum dryer with the “new technology” having only a 2-drum dryer system. This improved design translates into a huge energy saving and a drastic reclaim of space. Moreover the special brush system allow to clean the machine in running condition thus minimizing the machine down-time. The smart configuration of the Horizontal Drum Dryer with bearings installed outside the heating zone enhance the maximum durability and efficiency; while the light mesh covering of the drums avoids the product marking and ensures a perfect air distribution on all product width. In addition the close attention to minimize the impact on the environment goes hand-in-hand with the energy saving technology.
First drying drum
The impregnated nonwoven is fed in the first through-air-drum (TAD) where as a result of an optimal air-through principle it undergoes the total water evaporation.
Second curing drum
In the second through-air-drum (TAD) the resin is polymerized and the chemical crosslinking is depending on temperature and time frames.

Vertical Drum Dryer

The Vertical Drum Dryer is specially designed for spunlace, spunbond, spunjet and wetlace lines. The special drum covering mesh allows avoidance of product marking and an optimal air distribution uniformity across the product width.

Can Dryer

To be used in continuous operation finishing plants or as separately operating high-efficiency dryer for final and intermediate drying Ramina Can Dryer allows an efficient and energy-saving drying of Spunlace and other nonwovens with wrinkle-free fabric passage. Designed for a quick heating up Ramina Can Dryer ensures a perfect temperature uniformity across the fabric width and the highest product quality.

IR Pre-Heating

Used as a pre-dryer of impregnated nonwovens before the drying and binder curing process or as heat-setter in the lamination process the Infrared thermal technology is efficient and precise. Whether they short or medium wave radiation, the IR Pre-Heating can be equipped with different wavelengths according to the light source to suit specific processes. Short wave allows a deep thermal penetration and ensures a uniform through heating, while the Medium wave is most suitable for surface thermal heating. The main features of the machine are the adjustable distance between IR and nonwoven and the automatic opening and shutdown of IR in case of machine downtime. Infrared emitters are designed with spacers to prevent contact with the product.

IR Singeing Unit

Designed to close the sandwich of GCL after the mechanical bonding by needling and to avoid the leakage of the powder from the first PP woven layer, the IR Singeing Unit allows to burn the nonwoven filaments leaking from the woven layer creating a sort of small knots that lock the clay loss. The singeing is done by one/two plates of infrared heaters installed on all the product width.
